Every Thursday night at the Masonic Pub leading up to the festival and after too!

The Open music session is aimed at both amateur and accomplished players. Come along and fiddle, strum, pluck and blow your own instruments.

Not a musician? Come along and soak up the atmosphere, surrounded by real open fires, real ale, malt whiskys and everything traditionally Scottish and quaint in a 200 year old pub with history and a homely welcome.

Venue Details

Building of The Masonic Arms was completed in 1812 and the final meeting of St. Stephens Lodge was in the mid 1980`s.

This, like practically every pub within a two hundred mile radius, once provided refreshment for Robert Burns himself, and as you warm yourself inside and out with a roaring fire, a good stiff drink and all the live music you can eat, you'll catch a glimpse of what kept Rabbie aff the streets all those years ago.
